About ALYFA
Our Vision
Alabama Youth Football Association is a group of dedicated leaders and affiliated football leagues committed to improving the quality of the sport across the State of Alabama. ALYFA strives to enhance gameplay through hosting high-end coaching clinics, enriching player development camps, and superior tournaments.
Our History
Initiated in 2025, Alabama Youth Football Association leaders have been serving the Alabama youth football community for over 3 decades. Over the years our leaders have successfully developed the processes and experience to start a statewide organization that brings together leagues from across the state to greatly improve the level of play. This process starts at the youth level and with our partners across high-schools, official associations, and various state sports organizations, we aim to advance excellence in the sport that can be seen at the next level.
Our Commitment
At Alabama Youth Football Association, we also recognize that quality instruction only comes with professional training of coaches and organization leaders. ALYFA seeks to offer new coaches of all ages the opportunity to grow the skills needed on the sideline and perfect their coaching techniques. With improved coaching, the youth of Alabama receive a level of instruction and mentorship that eclipses basic volunteer coaching.
